ESG4FUTURE is a European project funded under the Erasmus+ Programme (KA220-VET), aimed at strengthening Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) competencies within Vocational Education and Training (VET).

The project responds to the growing demand for sustainability-related skills and responsible business practices, particularly in light of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), which introduces new ESG reporting and compliance requirements for European companies.

Project Objectives

The project pursues four main objectives:

• Equip VET students and trainers with ESG knowledge through up-to-date training materials aligned with EU and national CSRD frameworks;
• Train VET students in corporate governance, ethical leadership and responsible business, enabling practical application in future workplaces;
• Develop resources to integrate ESG into VET curricula, through student-led initiatives and collaboration with industry;
• Support ESG integration in VET institutions’ management and governance, through policy recommendations, guidelines and best practices.

ECOLE’s role

Within ESG4FUTURE, ECOLE plays a key role in developing the ESG training modules and digital learning tools. Building on our experience in sustainability, ESG and SME-focused training, ECOLE is responsible for:

• coordinating the design of the ESG curriculum for VET;
• leading the development and structuring of training content;
• integrating learning materials into the digital platform;
• ensuring alignment with labour market needs and SME sustainability requirements.
