R.I.S.I.CO. (Rete Integrata di Servizi per l’Innovazione e la COmpetitività) is designed to improve innovation and digitalisation processes in SMEs by implementing training services in cohesion with the organizational and cultural structures of the companies involved.

It focuses on three areas which are strong market sectors both in the Canton Ticino and in the areas of Como and Varese. The companies adhering to R.I.S.I.CO. would greatly benefit from cross-border cooperation and from shared innovations processes regarding the supply chains MechatronicFashion/TextilesLife Sciences.

The project supports SMEs to design processes of development plans in order to facilitate the transition and to acquire skills and methodologies required to implement innovation. The spreading of services experimented during R.I.S.I.CO. aim at improving innovation processes of SMEs through implementing partnership and cooperations between technology hubs and other cross-border production chains. 

The outcome of the project is to increase the competitive capapibility system that will produce a stronger influence on the international markets and an increase of the added value that is produced. The cross-border SMEs will be integrated within a network capable of generating life-long innovation processess.

R.I.S.I.CO. project lasts 30 months, from December 2018 to May 2021.
